Abstract
This publication is a consolidated report of a series of studies carried out at the Biochemical Department of the Institute of Nutrition Research in Bartislava on "Role of Ascorbic Acid in Cholesterol Metabolism". A new model of chronic ascorbic acid deficiency and experimental hyper-cholesterolemia in guinea pigs has been used to stimulate human situation.Downloads
