Abstract
This volume covers biological and physical aspects of marketing fresh vegetables and varieties of melon. It is based on considerable research undertaken in the USA on harvesting, preparation, packaging, transport and storage of horticultural crops. The authors describe harvesting practices and equipment, and the preparation and packaging requirements of crops for market.
