Abstract

This book is the report of the Inter- American Seminar on Literacy in Social and Economic Development, which took place in Miami, Florida in 1972. Florida International University, the Inter- American Literacy Foundation, and World Education, as sponsors of this seminar had designed the program to provide information on literacy in community and family life, in economic life, and in political life.
