Abstract

Feeding of choline deficient diet results in the accumulation of lipids in the liver of rats. Constituents of french wine having a hypocholesterolemic action were studied by Masquelier et al. The presence of small amount of epicatechin in the wine contributes to the hypocholesterolemic action.
