Abstract
Dietary fibre has been a largely neglected component of food, mainly because nutritionally it contributes little in man. Fibre is not an inert substance which simply passes through the gut but a group of compounds with physical, chemical, and metabolic properties that significantly influence the gastro-intestinal functions.Downloads
