Abstract
Preschoolers in India constitute 15 per cent of the total population as against 7 per cent in the technologically advanced countries of the world. Nutrition of preschool child is of paramount importance since the foundation for life time health, strength and intellectual vitality is laid during that period. In the developing societies, preschool children are particular victims of malnutrition. They are often weaned from breast to predominantly starchy adult diet and are thus predisposed to malnutrition and high mortality.Downloads
