Abstract
Improvement of community health requires strengthening of the primary health care component of health care system. This involves effective utilisation of available human resources in the community. Under Indian conditions, primary school teachers, postal staff, village level workers (Gramsevaks), etc who are already working in rural areas, can be trained and as suggested by Mahatma Gandhi down to DGHS in recent years for this purpose.Downloads
