Abstract

Adolescence is a stage of rapid growth and intense activity. Adolescence form an important period of physiological growth whose nutritional needs demand special attention. Nutritional needs of adolescent boys and girls are great that they need to eat a lot at this age. However economic constraints restrict the intake of food by the adolescents. Nutrition affects activity, growth, health, learning capacity, work performance and overall quality of life.
