Abstract
This report of the Eighth Ross Round Table on Child Advocacy and Pediatrics introduces in eight chapters: concepts of advocacy - definition and levels of professional action, child health care policy issues, strategies for action, organizational issues in child health and child development practices, development of a family advocacy programme, effects of hospital routines on the mother-newborn relationship, advances in developmental psychology and new vistas in the prevention of child abuse.Downloads
