British Medical Bulletin

Abstract

This issue of the British Medical Bulletin is devoted solely to computers and computing in medicine. The contributors are eminent scientists in the field with wide experience in the respective subjects. The modern computers will influence medicine, for the field is wide both medically and technically. The medical applications range from the analysis of crystallographic data and other laboratory studies, through attempts at diagnosis and the surveillance of patients, to the administration of hospitals.
