On Infinitely Generated Fuchsian Groups

Abstract

The study of fundamental domains for Fuchsian groups is classical and has been revived recently in connection with t he theory of Teichmuller spaces. In t his theory, the finitely generated Fuchsian groups play a central role and most of the results on fundamental polygons are valid only for these groups.
