Abstract

The purpose is due to the fact that in view of the two well-known consistency theorems for absolute Riesz summability, it cannot in general be said that (1) is | R, Ψ, α' | summable whenever it is | R, λ, α | summable where Ψn, λn, α and α' are arbitrary.
