Transformation of Birkhoff's Rings into themselves and Rotational Numbers

Abstract

This work is primarily based on Merman's paper on the coplanar restricted problem of three bodies. Here we present its three dimensional generalisation. We shall be exploiting Merman's works and our two papers published in this direction at every step. Some of the main results obtained in the previous papers are given here in nutshell.
