Abstract

In April 1916, Mr. T. C. Lewis made a communication to the London Mathematical Society about four of Tucker's Circles touching any three of the tangent circles of a triangle ; and in the May number (1916) of the Messenger of Mathematics was published a part of his paper on " the circles that touch any three of the four circles touching the sides of a Triangle," in which he has employed Gaston Darbonx's quadri-circular (tetracyclic) co-ordinates.
