Abstract
This volume is an outcome of the concerted and considered efforts of Food Technologists all over the world who had participated in the Third International Congress of Food Science and Technology in 1970. The theme as suited to the world today has been "Science of Survival" namely 'SOS/70' far short. Papers, talks and discussion have all been geared towards this goal. The thought provoking lectures in the Plenary sessions are: The challenge of the 70's, produce and conserve, Famine at the feast by the Lord Ritchie Calder, and Can man shape his future? and The 1970 W. O. Atwater memorial lecture by Philip Handler.Downloads
