Abstract
Pulses constitute an excellent supplement of protein in the predominantly vegetarian diet of Indian population and play a significant role for correcting the widespread malnutrition in the country. Cowpea and green gram are the two major pulse crops cultivated and preferred by majority of families in Kerala. They are good sources of protein, minerals and vitamins.Downloads
