Abstract
Cancer is an assemblage of neoplastic diseases with devastating impact in terms of mortality as well as physical and psychological morbidity. It is characterized by transformation of cells leading to abnormal unrestrained cellular proliferation. In India, nearly six to seven hundred thousand new cases of cancer are estimated to occur every year with an estimated prevalence of 1.5 to 1.8 million.Downloads
