Abstract

Women at work is an upcoming phenomenon in the industrialist societies, be it in the developed or developing world. Globally, women are projected to account for 47 percent of the labour force by the year 2005. For social and biological reasons, women have always been the subjects of importance in human resource management, primarily because of distinctive repercussions of work environment on women.
