Abstract
A variety of agro-industrial by-products have been studied by many workers for their utility as a source of protein and energy in the ration of livestock. Spent ginger, the residue after extraction of volatile oils and oleoresins from dry ginger, is by-product of essential oil industry. More than five tons may be produced per week at a single industrial site and needs to be disposed off.Downloads
