Diet and Behaviour a Multi Disciplinary Evaluation
Jump To References Section
Abstract
Beliefs about the effects of food on behavior have existed for ages, but systematic research studies in this field have been initiated only in the recent past. In many ancient cultures mention has been made about the magical qualities of certain foods which bestow special powers such as strength and courage. Beliefs related to the influence of food on behavior still exist, such as sweet foods bestowing pleasant disposition as against bad temper being contributed by hot spicy foods. These unsubstantiated beliefs are of considerable concern from the nutritional stand point.Downloads
