Abstract

Practices about infant feeding and weaning are varied and despite various developments, tend to fall back to its original eco-cultural pattern. Moreover, there are a multitude of practices rich in principle in such communities and it is not wise to condemn outrightly age old practices. Again, some of those have been practically tested by trial and error to suit the agro-climatic conditions of the community.
