Volume 24, Issue 4, April 2024

The April 2024, issue 4 contains two review articles, five short reviews, ten research articles, and three short communications.

There are review articles on the potential health benefits of Sorghum bicolor and archaeobotanical elucidation of Moringa oleifera. The short reviews include the traditional healing of bone fracture complications, the use of medicinal plant for management of male infertility, herbs used in diabetic wounds, the role of Kshara vasti ingredients on gut microbiota, and multifaceted health benefits of Stevia.

There are research articles on the neuroprotective action of Azadirachta indica leaves extract, development and evaluation of polyherbal hair dye, polyherbal formulation for ameliorating arthritis, anti-oxidant and antidiabetic activity of Stereospermum sauveolens leaves, antilithiatic and nephroprotective activity of Lantana camara flowers, nephroprotective properties of Wedelia chinensis, formulation and evaluation of Amomum sublatum leaf oil incorporated transdermal patches, analysis of processed black rice, biofabrication of silver nanoparticles using green seaweed, and anticancer activity of Enicostemma littorale extract.

Moreover, there are short communications on α-amylase and α-glucosidase inhibitory activities of Philippine medicinal plants, HPTLC method for rutin, quercetin, and gallic acid, and in silico screening of naringin in PCOS.
